You have made your Community Policing Team aware of issues surrounding speeding through our area. As such:

On Tuesday 22th September 2026 PC's Darren Gibson and Matt McCammon from Balfron Community Policing Team posted up on A811 through Arnprior between 1010 hours and 1050 hours.

Around 15 drivers were warned for exceeding the 20 miles per hour posted speed limit and

A report will be submitted to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service for consideration of prosecution under Section 2 Road Traffic Act 1988 (Dangerous Driving), when the driver of a vehicle spotted at 58 miles per hour is traced and spoken to.
