This is the time of year where online shopping activity naturally increases as we shop for the latest gadgets…at the best price.

It is essential we make sure the retailer / seller we are dealing with is genuine, is authentic, before we part with our hard-earned cash why, well scammers are absolutely aware, extremely active and they will be sending out phishing emails cleverly persuading shoppers to purchase from them – but the products will not arrive and if they do, they are probably fake, poor quality and you will have lost your money with no chance of recompense. The Cyberbyte will provide guidance and links to additional supporting resources to make online shopping this Christmas safer.
