National Rural Crime Update


 

 

 

ALERT - THEFT OF 2 QUAD BIKES AND TRAILER - ABERFOYLE - OVERNIGHT

 

Please be aware of the following theft:

 

Aberfoyle overnight between 23rd March 2025 and 24th March 2025 2 quad bikes and an Ifor Williams 4 wheeled trailer were stolen from a shed in Aberfoyle.

 

The shed was forced open, a trailer at the venue stolen and presumed used to load both quad bikes on to which were hot-wired and then taken from victims address.

 

One of the quad bikes had a tracker on it. The victim alerted Police to the last known location of the quad bikes which was a remote forest area not too far from Aberfoyle.

 

The 4 wheeled Ifor Williams trailer is still outstanding.

 

Police attended the location and found both quad bikes which have been recovered. Forensic opportunities are being used to identify the responsible person/ persons for the theft.
