School Exclusion Zones
School Exclusions Zones (SEZ) are in place at a number of schools within North Perthshire. These have been introduced to improve safety for vulnerable pedestrians by reducing vehicular traffic during school start and finish times.
SEZ are defined areas of restricted access around schools which are clearly identified by signage and flashing lights when the scheme is in operation. These are access restrictions, not parking restrictions and apply only during school term times.
Community Police Officers will be carrying out focused patrols and enforcement at SEZ in North Perthshire in the coming weeks.
Should Police find anyone driving within these zones during periods of restriction and without a valid permit, the driver of the vehicle will be issued with a fine.
If you wish to make contact with your local community police officer with regards this or any other Police related issues please get in touch.
